Wonders Valley Miniatures

Since we are both working and live so far from all the Miniature Horse shows, we contract with Marcia & Robbie Barth of Sumner, Iowa, to show our horses. We only put one horse out in the show ring each year, and we have done very well, thanks to Marcia, Robbie & Sam. We have other foals that we raise and sell, but only one gets to "go on" and it gets very hard to choose which one. Here are some of our show miniatures - with more on our MARES page.

Wonders Valley Amos's Bobby Socks

AMHA/AMHR - Born 5/20/05
Dusty black mare with white back stockings, and white front socks

Outstanding little mare with lots of pizzazz. She is correct in everyway, with straight legs, good bite, excellent conformation, and good personality. Her dam is MCC's Billy's Honey Bear (32.0") , and her sire is Windy Hills Aim for the Heart (30.5"). Her background breeding goes back to Bond Peppy Power/ NFC's Black Beauty/ Orion Light Vant Huttenest/ Tease Bird Vant Huttenest/ Lil Hills Kings Billy Ray/ MCC's Gold N Honey/ Hemlock Brooks Egyptian King/ Fallen Ash Farms So Sweet/ J.R.'s Chocolate Chip/ Lucky Four Trick Treat. She is absolutely show quality.

Wonders' Valley Lil Angel

Born 5/24/01 - AMHR
Class A Grey Pinto Mare

We purchased Angel as a weanling in 2001. She caught our eye because she was so beautifully marked with an "apron blaze". She has perfect conformation and is an excellent mare for our breeding program. Angel was campaigned in the show ring in 2002 as a yearling filly by Showtime Training Center. She placed in her class in every show she attended. She placed 6th in AMHR Division A National Top Ten All-Stars in Multi-colored Mare, Under.

Subra's Beth

Born 5/9/96 - 'B' Pinto Mare

We purchased her on 4/4/97. She was shown for us by Showtime Training Center in 1997 and 1998 and did fantastic. Beth placed at Nationals and AMHR All Stars both years in halter and color. In 1998, she was Division B Reserve National Champion All Star 2 Year Old Mare. Beth was inducted into the AMHR Hall of Fame in 1998. She is now producing some outstanding foals.

Wonders' Valley Joby

Born 5/9/96 - 'B' Pinto Gelding

He was our first foal, and we were very excited. We sold him in Spring, 1998, to Rich and Charlyn Ernst of Lil Bit O' Farm at Princeton, Minnesota. He was shown by them from 1998 on, as a stallion, gelding, in halter, and then in driving. He placed in Nationals and National All-Stars and has done very well. He is in the AMHR Hall of Fame. (SOLD)

Westwind Desperado

'B' Chestnut Stallion

We purchased him on 3/2/99 as a 5 year old stallion. He was already in the AMHR Hall of Fame as a 2 year old stallion. We had him shown by Showtime Training Center in 1999 in Aged Stallion, Model Stallion, Open Roadster - where he placed in Nationals and placed 6th, 9th, and 7th in the 1999 National All Stars. We sold him in 2000.

Wonders' Valley Centurion Dakota

Born 7/13/99 - 'Over' Pinto Stallion

One of our outstanding foals sired by Ramaker's Centurion and out of K-B's Starbright. He was shown in 2000 by Showtime Training Center and placed in the top eight in his classes, and placed 3rd in the MMHC Futurity. He did not get to go to the Nationals because he was sick. We sold him to Ron and Theresa Smith, Elma, Iowa, and he will be back in the show ring in 2001.

Rebel Creek Sparkling Diamond

AMHR/AMHA - Born 6/12/00
Black & White Pinto - Class A

We purchased Diamond on 3/11/01, and she came from Arkansas. Her breeding background goes back to Bond / Shadow Oak / Paul Bunyon and NFCs Competitor. We liked her so well and got her looking so good, that we decided to put her out in the show ring in 2001. Diamond was shown by Marcia Barth of Showtime Training Center. In classes averaging about 20 little horses, she placed in the Top 6, with numerous Firsts and Reserve Champion Mare. She will now be part of our breeding stock and we are very excited about her future offspring.

WVM Fon-Z's Sweet Georgia

AMHR - Born 5/14/03
Dam: Subra's Beth
Sire: STC Fon-Z

A gorgeous black & white pinto filly. She should mature around 34" and is a full sister to Wonders' Valley Fonz's Lexus Girl, who is on our show page. Georgia has very straight legs, good bite, great confirmation, long neck with a small throat latch and flashing color to boot. She would make an excellent little show filly because she has a terrific personality and the "pizzaz" needed for a good show horse. Both of her parents have outstanding show records, as does her sister, and are featured on another web page. She was campaigned out in the show ring and did very, very well. (SOLD)

She had a fantastic 2004 show season with 5 Grand Champion awards. She is now co-owned with Tom & Carmie Viebrock of Dresser, WI. She will be back in the show ring in 2005 to get her halter Hall of Fame. Thanks Tom & Carmie for being such great partners!

Tjeerdsma's Little Sweetie

Born 5/4/98 - 'A' Sorrel Mare

We purchased her on 10/19/98. She was shown for us by Showtime Training Center in 1999 and placed in the top 5 in every class she was in. She has produced us two show quality fillies. We sold Sweetie to Cliff & Melyssa Thomasson along with her little filly foal in 2004. Good Luck to Cliff & Melyssa with raising & showing these minis.

Wonders' Valley Fon-Z's Lexus Girl

Born 5/15/02 - AMHR
Black & white yearling show mare
