Awards: Trophies for Amateur, Youth and Championship Classes. All other Classes Ribbons 1st – 6th

PLEASE ENCLOSE THE FOLLOWING WHEN SENDING YOUR ENTRIES:

1. Completed entry form duplicate as needed (one horse per entry form) – please print.
2. Payment for entries, stalls, (checks made payable to NEWMHC).
3. Signed Waiver for all persons exhibiting horses at the show (back of entry form).
4. Copy of AMHR registration papers (must be up-to-date) for all horses in order to show.
         a) Geldings may not be shown unless their AMHR papers have been changed from
             Stallion to Gelding.
5. Copy of 2007 amateur card if showing in those classes.

IMPORTANT AMHR SHOW CHANGE:

• Any protest must be made in writing to the Show Manager or the Show Steward not later than one hour after the completion of the show session in the show schedule where the problem occurred. The protest shall be accompanied by a $100.00 deposit, which shall be returned to the protester in the event the protest is sustained. If not sustained, the local show management shall forward the $100.00 to the ASPC/AMHR National Office.

SPECIALTY CLASSES:

• Leadline: Horse to be 38” and under rider to be 6 years old or younger. Horse to be lead in both ways of the ring. To line up and stand quietly to be judged on riders ability to handle and aid the horse. Mares and Geldings only, no stallions. Entry is made in the name of the rider.

UPON ARRIVAL AT THE SHOW GROUNDS

• Hours for measuring horses will be on Friday from 5:00pm – 9:00 pm and on Saturday & Sunday from 7:00 am – 8:00 am or as needed.
• If the horse has been measured within 60 days of this show, you may present your yellow measurement or permanent measurement card to steward. If you do not have the measurement card, the horse will be required to be measured again.
• Registration Papers will be checked at sign up. You will receive your Show packets and back tags after your horses are measured.
• Amateur cards can be obtained from the show steward at the show. Proof of AMHR membership is required or can also be paid to steward at show. Contact AMHR for details.
• PROOF OF NEGATIVE COGGINS REQUIRED – NO EXCEPTIONS

REFUNDS

• If an entry is to be cancelled a written notice by the exhibitor must be received by the Show Manager (Tom Kuczer) no later than May 1st, 2007. Veterinarian certificates are not needed. The entry fee and Stall fee in this case will be refunded less the office fee of $10.00 per horse.
• After May 2nd, 2007 there will be NO REFUNDS the exhibitor shall forfeit all entry and stall fees.
