Welcome to Moonwind Farm

MoonWind Farm is a small hobby farm located in central Wisconsin. My wife Barb and I (Bob) have been in horses for a long time. We started with a 1/2 Arab mare and through the years have shown many horses - in the beginning Arabs & 1/2 Arabs.

Since 1994 our focus has been on the miniature horse. Through the years we have had multiple Grand Champions, Top 10 National horses, a Miniature Horse Hall of Fame from our farm, top 10 national All Star and Regional Champions.

Our goal is to breed a Miniature Horse that without a person in the picture, looks like a full-sized horse. We have also focused on correctness and have devoted alot of time on nutrition for the animals as well as to understand their individual needs.

The wife and I both have certificates in Horse Science and I am a registered farrier. Our animals are healthy, sound, and are well kept. When selling any of our horses, we will ask about where they are going, because we love our little friends and want them to have a good home if they leave us.
