All horses must be registered either AMHA or AMHR.
Horses must be owned by a member of MMHC. Horses sold after nomination may stay in the program as long as the new owner is a member of MMHC, or becomes one, and continues to pay the fees.
All money collected will stay in the program it originated in.
Futurity classes will be held at the Annual MMHC Club Show. Classes will be held for weanlings, yearings, and two year olds in both Over and Under divisions. A special class is held for Supreme Futurity Horse.
All horses shown at the futurity shows must have current registration papers and MUST be measured by the show steward. Measurements will be checked.
Special futurity ribbons and coolers will be given at the show. Money awards will be handed out at the awards banquet.
If you choose not to show your foal as a weanling, it will still be eligible for the yearling program as long as weanling sustaining fees are paid by December 31 of the year of birth.
Sustaining fees paid on horses not shown will be held back for the starting pot for the next year on that group of horses.
Stallions and geldings show in one class, fillies in another.
In the case of the 2 year old futurity, 100% of the purse will be paid out as that is the last year of the program.
Fee schedule: Mare nominations--$5.00 per horse per program; Sustaining fees--$20.00 per horse per program; Show fees--$7.50 per class.
No late mare nominations. All other fees double if late.
No refunds for any reason except duplication of payment.
All placings will be given out. If the class is less than 6 horses, the unawarded money will go back into the purse for that group of horses next season. Two year old futurity pays out all the money in it's purse.

Pay-Out Schedule

1st - 30%
2nd - 24%
3rd - 19%
4th - 14%
5th - 9%
6th - 4% In the case of a 2 year old class with less than 6 entries, the pay-out will be thus:
1 horse - 100%
2 horses - 60%, 40%
3 horses - 50%, 30%, 20%
4 horses - 40%, 30%, 20%, 10%
5 horses - 35%, 25%, 20%, 15%, 5%
