How it All Started...

Our miniature horse adventure began when we attended an auction to see what the minis were like. We wanted to check out their overall conformation, prices, and most importantly, their temperament. We had been wondering if they had the typical "pony" attitude. Needless to say, we fell in love with a sweet two year old filly (Destiny) and our miniature horse adventure had begun. We brought her home to our farm in southern Minnesota, and found what every miniature horse enthusiast knows, you can't have just one.

It worked out wonderfuly for my parents and I to have a horse that nine-year-old me could handle safely. We soon became best friends and when she had her first foal, I was the only one she allowed into her stall for days. We fell in love with the breed.

So, one horse soon became two, and so on and so forth. We decided to try to improve upon the breed as a family and took a huge step forward with this in the acquisition of our stallion, Goldie. As an already accomplished show horse, we were able to continue on his showing in almost every class possible.

Now that Goldie's first babies are on the ground, we are more excited than ever as we train his babies and start Goldie in something he has never done before - drive.
