ANNOUNCING THE ADDITION OF
MISSY'S NICOLAI

We want to express our sincere gratitude to Lee, Deb, and Missy Meyer of Missy's Miniatures, Fairfax, Iowa, for allowing us to add Nicolai to our herd. We are so excited because Nikki is a phenomenal driving stallion with a very, very bright future ahead of him. Nikki has already proven himself in just one year of driving, by placing in the top five in three different driving classes at the AMHR Nationals, in 2008. Nikki has taken a year off but you can look for him in the show ring again in 2010 with Robby Barth of Showtime Training Center. Robby and Nikki should be a formidable duo in the pleasure driving classes and we are excited to see what they can do their second year together. Nikki is a son, and repleca, of Alpha Farms Black Russian, and a grandson of Little Kings White Russian. Once Nikki retires from his driving career we plan to use him for breeding, in hopes of producing some outstanding driving horses here at Mariposa Miniatures.

MISSY'S NICOLAI (Nikki) EARNS AMHR HALL OF FAME IN 2010 FOR PLEASURE DRIVING, UNDER!!!!

Nikki, shown by Robby Barth and Showtime Training Center, had a TREMENDOUS show season in 2010, culminating in Nikki's induction into the AMHR Hall Of Fame!! Robby and Nikki competed in three classes at the 2010 AMHR Nationals and they earned a third, fifth, and sixth. We are so proud of them!!

2001 Palomino stallion. Sensation's sire (see Reference Page) is a direct son of Boones Little Buckeroo and his dam is a Superior Dam, I Love Suzzie. Sensation is an awesome stallion with presence, movement, attitude, and a proven show record. Sensation has been the main herd sire here at Mariposa, with his first foals arriving in the Spring of 2005. All foals sired by Sensation have some form of the word Sensation included in their names. 2003 Grey Pinto Stallion. Jigs comes with triple Blue Boy bloodlines. He is a Dance Til U R Blue son (see Reference Page, out of a double Blue Boy granddaughter, Flaby's Blue Smoke. A true Arabian grey, Jigs has a wonderful personality and loves to show. I call him my "Lion heart" because he is always willing to give you everything he has in a workout or show. 2003 Blue Roan Stallion. Dewey and Rebecca Christensen were kind enough to allow Mouse to move to Nebraska, and for that we are so grateful. Mouse is a beautiful, flashy, and fiery boy, with loads of great bloodlines. He is a Boone's Little Buckeroo great-grandson, sired by Flamingo's Hersheys Kiss Buckeroo. Mouse's sire is in the AMHR Hall of Fame in Halter and an AMHA Top Ten Stallion. Mouse's sire is a paternal brother to Avladars Double Destiny. Mouse's dam is a beautiful silver dapple that has been purchased by a family in the Netherlands. Mouse has done well himself in the show ring, and he is living up to our expectations as a herdsire. 2005 Bay Stallion. Buster is a gorgeous stallion who we plan to keep for our own breeding program. His handsome sire is Lucky Four Apache Tribute (see Reference Page), who is sired by none other than, Dippers Dipsy Doodle. His dam is Jandt's breeding on top and bottom. See her picture on our Mares page. Buster's first show season was in 2006, as a yearling. He did very well, never receiving lower than second place. He ended the season with a Grand and Reserve Grand Champion Jr. Stallion, Over. See his foals here!

2006 Bay Jr. Stallion. Royal is AWESOME, and will definitely be retained for our breeding program. We are so pleased with both Royal and his dam, Snowy, and want to thank Lilliput Acres for allowing us to buy these two wonders. Royal is sired by Lilliput Acres Show Me The Bucks (Spider--see Reference Page), who has sired so many wonderful AMHR National Top Ten foals. Spider is sired by the famous Little King's Buck On Broadway (BOB). We just can't say enough good things about Spider! He is a breeder's dream! Royal's dam, Z's Snow on the Mountain has bragging rights of her own. Her sire is an AMHR Hall Of Fame horse, and she herself has done very well showing. In 2004, she received Reserve Grand Champion Mare and an AMHR National Top Ten. For Mariposa in the 2006 show season, she was honored as an AMHR National Top Ten All-Star. Mariposa A Kiss To Build A Dream On

This colt is Ruby's first foal and again we were thrilled to see so much color and such crazy patterns. Bugle Boy's sire comes from some tremendous lines, his sire being in the AMHR Hall of Fame. He goes back to Boones Little Buckeroo via Ima Buckeroo Too. Bugle Boy's dam is one of our own foals kept for our breeding program; she was sired by our own stallion Outlaw's Beau Sensation, who also goes back to Boones Little Buckeroo through Little Kings Beau Buckeroo. Bugle Boy will probably stay under or around 34-inches at maturity.

AMHR Buckskin Colt Born 2010 Sire: Rowbuck Ballistic By George Dam: Lilliput Acres Show Me Seattle Blue WOW!!!!! We are so thrilled with this colt! Woody goes back to the infamous Boone's Little Buckeroo 3 times, and Flying W Farms Blue Boy once. He goes back to Boone's Little Buckeroo by way of Little Kings Buck On Broadway (Bob), twice, and by way of Little Kings Buckeroo God (George), once. Woody is royally bred and it shows. He is going to improve with every passing day, and did I mention dilute color?!?!?! Not for sale until all 2010 foals arrive.

WOW! At one week of age, this boy is still unfolding and he gets better everyday! We are so pleased with Maggie's first foal who seems to have received the best of both his sire and dam! Atom has wonderful bloodlines such as Boone's Little Buckeroo, twice, Buck On Broadway (Bob), Lilliput Acres Show Me The Bucks (Spider), Little Kings Beau Buckeroo, and the ever successful Jandt's breeding. I love this boy's topline and nice head!

Mariposa Hart's Spectrum Analysis
(Boy Howdy)

We are very pleased with this little colt and the cross of Sheep Meadow and Buckeroo bloodlines! Howdy is a correct little guy all around, with a pretty head and tiny ears. His beautiful bay color is topped off with some very fun markings. Howdy's dam is sired by Raygold Wythe Ramaker JJ, who is still being actively and successfully shown today in halter and driving. JJ is also a half brother to Raygold Ramaker Kommandant, who earned his Hall of Fame in halter and performance. Howdy's sire goes back to the celebrated Boone's Little Buckeroo, by way of Spider and Bob, two very well known and successful stallions. You can't go wrong with Howdy!!!!!

Mariposa's Ready Set Go Ballistic
(Birch)

The 2010 foaling season ended the same way as it started, with a gorgeous foal! Birch was our last foal for the season, and he is like a little fawn! Birch is extremely refined and typey. He is going to have a gorgeous head like his sire, long, willowy legs, and a very nice neck. His palomino color is exquisite and he has huge dark eyes, like his sire. We are thinking that Birch may top out at or under 34-inches. Birch's breeding is very heavily Buckeroo, through LK White Russian and LK Buckeroo God. He should be an outstanding show colt, and is good enough to be a herd sire.

We owe a HUGE thank you to our friends at Outlaw Miniatures for allowing us to purchase this beautiful boy. Rambeau is a 3/4 brother to our gorgeous stallion Outlaw's Beau Sensation. We are hoping to show Rambeau and just have fun with him. And...perhaps a very handsome driving team for the future???
