For Sale of Mariposa Miniature Horse Farm
Barbours Comanche Rebel
AMHR
Sire: Powell's Comanche Dam: Westernaire Two Socks 1996 black/white pinto with one blue eye and one brown eye. Rebel is a very athletic, proud, and "woofy" stallion, and is very good natured. He is a proven breeder and easy keeper. Rebel would possibly make a good driving horse and of course, could be gelded, at our expense, if desired. Click here to see Rebel's offspring. Price-$500.
AMHR 2004 Silver Bay mare. We call this mare Jewel. She carries the honor of being the first foal born at Mariposa Farm. We were so thrilled when she arrived! This mare is spoiled! Jewel is petite and refined, with her dam's large, expressive eye. Her color is exceptional and she has placed over and over in the color class. Jewel will stay under 34-inches and will be eligible to be hardshipped into AMHA on her fifth birthday in 4/09. Her dam can be seen above on our Mares page, and her sire can be seen on the Reference Page. Jewel is open and comes with a free breeding to any of our stallions, if desired. Price-$1,200. Or together with Center Stage Sensation (below)-$2,00 for the pair.
AMHR
Sire: Outlaw's Beau Sensation 2005 Silver Bay mare. This mare is a pill! She has personality plus and is the apple of her sire's eye. We call her Poppy and she has the attitude and grandeur of a much larger horse. She really is her sire, wrapped in her dam's clothing. We had fun showing Poppy in 2006, and look forward to adding her to our broodmare band if not sold. Poppy and her 3/4 sister, Jewel, together took 2nd place at the Area VI Nationals in the Produce of Dam class. Her sire can be seen on our Stallions page and her dam can be seen above. Poppy will mature under 34-inches and will be eligible for hardshipping into AMHA in 2010. Poppy is open and can be brought back next year for a free breeding to any of our stallions, if desired. Price-$1,200. Or together with Beau Dacious (above)-$2,00 for the pair.
AMHR 2005 sorrel and white pinto mare. We refer to this bundle of love as Tulip. Tulip is especially sweet because she has a mild leg deformity in her front leg. The angular deformity does not hinder her in any way, and she runs and plays just like all her stable mates. She was always being handled, trimmed, examined, etc. as a weanling, so she loves people and attention. She has two very light, bright blue eyes that she inherited from her sire. Tulip will stay with us forever, unless someone would like to buy her for a "buddy", understanding that she should never be bred. A better equine friend, you're unlikely to find. Tulip could be a youth or 4-H horse, and could even be shown AMHR in classes where she is not being judged on conformation. She has a very willing attitude and will do anything to please. She would even love a job as a visiting horse for schools, nursing homes, etc. Her sire can be seen on our Stallions page and her dam above on our Mares page.
2006 Sorrel filly. We have named this precocious girl, Irish. She was born near St. Patrick's Day, and the name just seemed appropriate. Irish goes back to Boones Little Buckeroo on both her sire and dam's side. Her sire is a grandson of Buckeroo, and her dam is a great-granddaughter of Buckeroo. Irish should mature around 33 to 34-inches. She has many driving horses in her pedigree and should perform well. Show horse potential, she could show halter/performance and bring home ribbons for your farm! Price-$1,500.
AMHR
Sire: Outlaw's Beau Sensation 2006 Palomino Pinto filly. Fancy is her name! Fancy is an unassuming, demure, petite little pinto. She will mature a very nice golden palomino color, with four white stockings, a big star, and a white hip. She also has mirrored white spots on each side of her neck, but one will probably be covered by her main. She really is a much nicer filly than this picture shows. Her bloodlines recall some great horses. Her paternal great-grandsire is none other than Boone's Little Buckeroo, and her Maternal grandsire is an AMHR Hall of Fame Driving horse! Fancy can also brag about having a Superior Dam for a great-granddam. With her background, this little one just might burn up the ring under cart. Fancy will mature under 34 inches. We plan to hardship Fancy's dam into AMHA, which will make Fancy eligible for progeny hardshipping into AMHA, at the reduced rate. We look forward to watching Fancy mature and will add her to our breeding program if not sold. Price-$1,200.
