2006 Foals at Mariposa Miniature Horse Farm
Mariposa's Million Dollar Sensation
2006 Sorrel filly. We have named this precocious girl, Irish. She was born near St. Patrick's Day, and the name just seemed appropriate. Irish goes back to Boones Little Buckeroo on both her sire and dam's side. Her sire is a grandson of Buckeroo, and her dam is a great-granddaughter of Buckeroo. This is one little firecracker in a small package. She will mature under 34-inches. Her sire and dam can be seen on our Stallions and Mares pages.

Sire: Outlaw's Beau Sensation 2006 Palomino Pinto filly. Fancy is her name! Fancy is an unassuming, demure, petite little pinto. She will mature a very nice golden palomino color, with four white stockings, a big star, and a white hip. She also has mirrored white spots on each side of her neck, but one will probably be covered by her mane. She really is a better looking filly than this picture shows. Her bloodlines recall some great horses. Her paternal great-grandfather is none other than Boone's Little Buckeroo, and her maternal grandfather is an AMHR Hall of Fame Driving horse! Fancy can also brag about having a Superior Dam for a great-grandmother. We plan to hardship Fancy's dam into AMHA. Once that occurs, Fancy will be eligible for progeny hardship at the reduced rate for AMHA. We look forward to watching Fancy mature and add her assets to our breeding program.

Sire: Outlaw's Beau Sensation 2006 Sorrel filly. Chloe and Sensation have done it again! Last year they gave us a Palomino filly, and this year we were blessed with Ravishing Ruby, a tall, long-legged, long-necked red sorrel beauty. Ruby was shown once as a weanling, where she took first place in her Weanling-Over class. We currently plan to add Ruby to our show string for 2007, and look forward to the fun we'll have! Ruby will probably mature around 35-inches. Ruby's sire and dam can be seen on our Stallions and Mares pages.
Mariposa's Show Me Royal Caliber
AMHR
AMHR National Futurity Nominated
Sire: Lilliput Acres Show Me The Bucks 2006 Bay Jr. Stallion. Royal is AWESOME, and will definitely be retained for our breeding program. We are so pleased with both Royal and his dam, Snowy, and want to thank Lilliput Acres for allowing us to buy these two wonders. Royal is sired by Lilliput Acres Show Me The Bucks (Spider--see Reference Page), who has sired so many wonderful AMHR National Top Ten foals. Spider is sired by the famous Little King's Buck On Broadway (BOB). We just can't say enough good things about Spider! He is a breeder's dream! Royal's dam, Z's Snow on the Mountain has bragging rights of her own. Her sire is an AMHR Hall Of Fame horse, and she herself has done very well showing. In 2004, she received Reserve Grand Champion Mare and an AMHR National Top Ten. For Mariposa in the 2006 show season, she was honored as an AMHR National Top Ten All-Star. Her picture can be seen on our Mares page. For the 2007 show season, Royal will be conditioned and shown by Kim Seipp, of Lookout Mountain Miniatures in Strasburg, Colorado. A big thanks to Kim in advance, as we know the two of you will do GREAT. Watch for a little Royalty in a show ring near you!! |
