It's much easier to talk about the horses than our lives,
but here goes . . .
Sharlene has been involved with miniature horses since 1997. Erin is very familiar with horses, has been supervising her mother and playing with horses before she could crawl. The majority of the herd resides in B.C., Canada, where they have pastures to graze instead of just kicking rocks in their old Texas pastures.

Sharlene is from British Columbia, Canada and currently resides in Texas with her 3 year old daughter, Erin, and chow, Molly. The farm is run by both the Weber families, which includes a few long-distance phone calls!!!

Sharlene's parents, Norm & Eleanor, and her brother, Gary, all live in Canada and are long-time dairy/beef farmers. They also have "big" horse experience. The minis have provided quite a change of pace, routines, and joys--a big difference from working with one Tennessee Walker, and now all the little horses that she "mothers" out in the pasture.

The Canadian Weber family are enjoying the range in mini personalities while raising, training, and loving them. Sharlene & Erin still participate in a local Texas AMHR horse club. We are always learning more about these loveable horses! Erin entered her first horse show at 2 1/2 years old this last summer, a fun class for kids. She took her job seriously, and certainly brought smiles to the judge's and onlookers' faces! |
