Lilliput Acres Show Me High Class
2004 colt
This extremely pretty black and white colt with limited showing was a first place class finisher and Reserve Grand Champion. He is available for purchase, read more about him on that page! Lilliput Acres Show Me Blue Sapphire
This stunning silver dapple pinto Spider daughter was our first place winner in the Minnesota Miniature Horse Club futurity Mare foal class. We are retaining her for our breeding program. Watch for her in the future!
2003 stallion Valentino was an extremely fun horse to show this year! In the two shows he went to to qualify for Nationals he was Grand Champion Over Stallion. Then at the AMHR Nationals, he really went to town, winning a Top Ten in every class he was in: Model Stallion-Over, Futurity Two Year Old Stallion Over 33"-37", and Open Two Year Old Stallion 35"-37" with Michele, and also a Top Ten in Amateur with Marcy! It was her first time showing Valentino, and they worked real well together. Marcy has a great start going on her ASPC/AMHR breeding program and Valentino will be a big part of it. Thanks, Marcy, for trusting us to show your gorgeous boy!
Lilliput Acres Show Me Code Blue
2005 gelding
"Cody", another of our Spider babies, was named the 2005 AMHR National Champion Weanling Gelding 28-30! He followed in the footsteps of his maternal brother, BA Blue Blazes, who won that honor in 2004. Cody was also on one judges card as the Reserve Junior Champion, which is quite an honor for such a young boy at the Nationals. At the Minnesota Club Futurity in July, Cody was the 2nd place weanling stallion/gelding, right behind his paternal brother, Show Me Class Clown. This super nice young gelding is available for purchase. Cody would make a great youth horse, and has enough muscle for any performance career. Go to the 2005 foal page to read more about him!
Lilliput Acres Show Me Class Clown
2005 stallion
Clown had a terrific 2005 show season! This elegant and refined Spider son won our Minnesota Club futurity, and then went on to Nationals to see what he could do. We were extremely happy and proud when he placed in the TOP FIVE in the Weanling Stallion/Gelding Under Futurity class of OVER 70 ENTRIES! WOW!! This young colt will be staying here with us for awhile, as we may retain him for a Junior stallion. The future looks bright for this beautiful colt.
2003 Stallion Racer and Virgil were one of the highlights of the show year! Besides being an extremely consistant class winner, multiple Grand Champion and Multi-Color winner we had the fun of watching Virgil win many, many Amateur classes with his horse. Virgil had shown sheep and dogs before, but never a horse. The first Amateur class the pair stepped into, in Sioux Falls, they came out with two blue ribbons in a large and competitive class and they never looked back. It was great fun for Virgil and for us!! Racer was a Top Ten finisher at the 2005 AMHA Central Regionals in Two Year old Stallion 31-33' and also in Multi-Color. At the 2005 AMHR National SHow, he was Top Ten in both Model Stallion, and Two Year Old 31"- 33". Both classes had over 30 entries! We have been blessed to get to know Virgil and Lois, and to show this wonderful horse. Thanks so much, and keep that karaoke machine going, we'll be back!!
Lilliput Acres Show Me Arrogance (aka Lil Spidy)
Owned by Marilyn Pikal, Winthrop,MN This little 28 3/4" senior Spider son showed us all that the little guys can do anything! He was a multiple Senior Champion Stallion at AMHA and AMHR shows, and a Reserve Grand and Grand Champion AMHR stallion, too. At the 2005 AMHA Central Regionals, he was a Top 5 28-30 Senior Stallion and half of the Champion Produce of Dam with his sister Itty Bitty for their dam Lucky Hart's Strawberry Doll, and at the 2005 AMHR Nationals he was Top Ten in Senior Stallions 28-30, and part of the Produce of Dam entry and Get of Sire entry that both received Top Tens in some tough competition against much taller horses. He has his daddy's show attitude and we are excited for Marilyn and her breeding program! Thanks so much for allowing us to share in this little guys show career!
Produce of Dam Lucky Hart's Strawberry Doll
(Thanks to Andrea Severson for helping me out at the Regional Show, Megan was not able to attend)
Look at this hoodlum we saw lurking around the stalls at the 2005 AMHR Nationals. Mini-Bike Mike on the prowl!!
