It has been another whirlwind of a year and 2009 Nationals has already come and gone! And plans are already underway for next year and our New Show String for 2010! Maybe finally a bigger trailer and a few more horses. The horses are for sure "all in the family" and everyone is becoming more and more involved and wanting to be in the showring! Even little Layne...who carried Montana's youth Trophies around the stall explaining in his own words at 2 1/2 that he was going to be showing next year! WE WILL SEE!
We were blessed with another exciting year at 2009 AMHR Nationals. As the kids are getting older and mom and dad busier then ever, dad with managing another Agri Branch and mom with photos...allot of the training and conditioning has become the responsibility of the kids. A big Thank You goes out to Sheldon and Dusty for all their hard work in conditioning and training. And Miss Montana as well who would help with some conditioning. Thanks also to the Country Lane Crew for all pulling together at Nationals to make everything run smoothly! We sure missed Alana this year in Tulsa, but it was a good feeling knowing she was watching over the herd at home! Thanks Alana!
A huge Thank You goes out to Pete and Lisa of Marystown Miniatures for all their help in and out of the ring, as well as the exciting titles we brought home with Pete showing! Sheldon was especially pumped after helping with a few of the horses and he learned so much in just a few days! Also to John and Niomi Stacy for handling Quey to his Reserve National Champion Title in his age class! We are so proud of him! And to Tuffy Acton for showing Mogli in his age class and for doing so well with him. Thanks also goes out to our friend Donna from Ontario who spent a few days with us and helped with things around the stall, you are the greatest! And Thank You to Sarah Organis for showing DD to her National Top Ten placing in her Futurity. Also to Rita for stopping in each morning and for your support with Sombrero! We are so blessed to have such special friends! And, to all the great friends who dropped by the stall throughout the week, it was so special to see everyone!
Huge Congrats goes out to Sheldon, Dusty and Montana who were all named to the 2009 AMHR HIGH POINT YOUTH TEAM! I don't know if mom and dad could be more proud of the three of you!!! And to Miss Montana, our pretty girl in pink who received her highpoint 7 & Under Girl honor! What a dream....what a ride...And how lucky are we to be doing what we love to do as a family! Mom and Dad love ya!
