Country Lane Miniatures is a family operated Miniature Horse Farm located in Manitoba, Canada established in 1995. We have become very passionate about our breeding program and what it means as a future to the Miniature Horse Industry in both Canada, the U.S. and now also over-seas. We are breeding AMHA/AMHR Miniature Horses with a strong Buckeroo heritage that display the distinct "Buckeroo look". At Country Lane Miniatures we are breeding for total refinement, grace and beauty with the true "Exotic" Arabian Look!

Since we have a young family, everyone is part of this "Miniature Horse Adventure". Our children are part of the everyday chores and now even training. They have all been in the ring at a local level since the age of 2. No doubt, our horses get tonnes of love and attention from many small loving hands! Miniature Horses have truly become a part of our family!!

2001 saw the addition of a young stallion by 1996 AMHA National Grand Champion Senior Stallion, "Ima Boones Little Buckeroo Too". We knew with the addition of this outstanding little stallion, Love Broker, our breeding program would soon rise to another level. We soon not only started competing on a local level, but started showing at Sanctioned shows both here in Manitoba and the Northern U.S. and other Miniature Shows out of Province. Our accomplishments in the ring soon made us believe our "Dreams Where Coming True". We very soon saw the additions of some great little mares that were either daughters or granddaughters of what we believe to be the Worlds most Outstanding, Consistent and Prestigious stallion, "Buckeroo". It wasn't long before we realized these horses would be a strong foundation for our program.

2002 saw our first offspring out of our BTU son arrive safely on the ground. These offspring were nothing but breaktaking and all that we had hoped them to be! It wasn't long before the demand for these offspring as well as the constant year to year demand for foals out of our Blue Roan Buckeroo bred stallion started pouring in!

We soon realized we need a different line to cross with some of our Buckeroo bred horses. This saw the addition in the Winter of 2002 some gorgeous Jandts bred mares and a gorgeous AMHR National Grand Futurity Champion Stallion bred by Hoofbeat Acres. At this time, we also purchased a little double registered filly sired by the amazing "BOB". What a dream come true that was! Thanks to the constant encouragement of Angie at Hoofbeat Acres, we would soon take things to another level!

The spring of 2003 saw our first BTU grand babies in the show ring reaching oustanding levels. Our little gelding known as "Dezi" took Unanimous Grands all Summer, reaching a level close to his Hall of Fame as a yearling. Our BOB daughter did the same, taking Grand after Grand. And, the entire rest of our show string continued in their steps. September of 2003 brought our first AMHR National Show. The whole family made their way down to Tulsa, Oklahoma for this amazing adventure! Never in our wildest dreams did we expect to come home with not only Top Ten National Titles, but also some National Champion titles and even a Reserve National Junior Champion! This would no doubt set our standards from that time on very high!

In the next few months, we would also see our first horses go "Over-Seas". Nine of our horses will make their new homes in Wales, Germany, and the Netherlands where they will lay a strong foundation for Miniature Horses in Europe. We hope this is only the beginning of Country Lane Horses that will make their way Over-Seas to well represent our breeding Program and the American Miniature Horse Breed. Our special stallion "Rowdy" will make his debut in the European ring in February of 2004! "Spotted Virtue" a tiny leopard appy weanling stallion will be one of the Foundation Stallions for the Miniature Registry in Germany, and "Czars Grand Fortune" will truly represent what a miniature horse should be in Wales!!!

With our sites now set very high, the decision to add a few new stallions was plainly in view. After much planning and research on bloodlines, our dream would come true once again! Thanks to Little King Farm and Arion Management, 2003 would bring the addition of three more stallions, ALL sired by AMHA National Grand Champion Stallions!!! This strong lineage of Buckeroo is no doubt where Champions will be made!

So, where are we headed next? At Country Lane we hope to continue to build a strong foundation of what the true Miniature Horse is, not only NOW, but in the FUTURE! We hope our love, passion and constant dedication to these horses will see Country Lane continue building the Miniature Horse Industry.Our sites are now not only set for the AMHR National Level, but also in the near future having offspring sired by our Buckeroo and Destiny sons with top AMHA trainers that may be the next National Contenders on the AMHA level. And we look forward to Country Lane Horses not only competing at a National Halter Level, but hopefully also in the National Driving Ring as well! We look forward to the continued success of all our clients around the world! Country Lane would not be what it is without their continued support and belief in our horses! And to our Children, that are now building their own Miniature Herd. We know they will continue to strongly represent the Youth of this Industry both on a local and National Level. In the years to come we look forward to their continued support at home, in the ring and await when they breed their own National Champions!! We hope the horses of "Country Lane" will continue to make the dreams of their new owners come true and be a place where "New Legacy's are not only made, but bred".
